Dr. Lavanya Rajendran
Dr. Lav earned her DMD from Western University of Health Sciences before completing her periodontics residency and earning her Master of Dental Science (MDSc) at UConn. During her advanced training, she developed a deep appreciation for the precision, artistry, and biological principles that define exceptional periodontal and implant surgery.
Board certified by the American Board of Periodontology and LANAP certified since 2022, she brings advanced surgical expertise to every procedure, with a particular passion for soft tissue grafting and esthetic implant surgery. As a former president of the Connecticut Society of Periodontists and volunteer clinical faculty member in UConn’s periodontics program, Dr. Lav remains actively involved in the professional community while helping teach the next generation of periodontists. That ongoing involvement outside the practice keeps her learning and allows her to bring patients the most current, thoughtful care available.
