Smile transformations at Waypoint Periodontics

Every smile in this gallery represents something that matters: a patient who took a step toward better health and left with results that changed how they feel about their mouth. At Waypoint Periodontics, Dr. Lav approaches every procedure with precision, artistry, and genuine investment in the outcome. Whether it is restoring gum tissue lost to recession, replacing a missing tooth with a natural-looking implant, or treating periodontal disease while preserving what is healthy, the results speak for themselves. Browse the gallery below to see what is possible when biology-driven care meets surgical expertise.

Connective tissue graft

Severe recession around teeth #22 and #23 left this patient with limited gum coverage. A minimally invasive connective tissue graft helped rebuild the area and create a healthier, more supported gumline.

Gum grafting around dental implants

This patient came to us after noticing their gums receding around two dental implants, making the metal underneath visible. Free gingival grafts added stronger tissue around the implants and helped restore coverage for a more natural appearance.

Free gingival graft

Inflammation and significant recession around tooth #25 had left the tissue thin and vulnerable. With a free gingival graft, we were able to add thickness, improve coverage, and better protect the area moving forward.

Tissue grafting with acellular dermal matrix

Because this patient preferred not to use tissue from the roof of the mouth, we chose an acellular dermal matrix to treat recession across teeth #11–13. The result was improved root coverage and a more balanced gumline.
